## Introduction

Posted when the [Steam Overlay](https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/overlay) activates or deactivates. The game can use this to pause or resume single-player games.

### Active

True if the overlay was just activated, false if it was closed

### User-Initiated

True if the activation or close occurred as a result of a direct user request e.g. Shift + Tab or similar. False otherwise such as if the overlay was opened by a game event or similar.
